About

Based in Ireland, Lu is a private caterer and yoga teacher, renowned for her sumptuous party food and Indian-inspired snacks and curries. Lu offers weekly yoga classes and restorative retreats, incorporating yoga and nutritious cooking to unite the body, mind and soul. Her journey of food discovery continues to fuel her own kitchen in Slane, inspired by like-minded cooks including Diana Henry, Yotam Ottolenghi and Meera Sodha.

Food

Delicious, uncomplicated food will always lift people's spirits at a party. Championing vibrant, non fussy dishes that allow the ingredients to speak for themselves, Lu caters for both large and small events and private celebrations across Ireland. Expect flair and, above all, flavour.

Retreats

Join a Lu Thornely Retreat in Ireland celebrating the union of food and yoga. Each retreat is focused on developing a calm mind as well as a strong and healthy body. Hosted in private historic residences with beautiful gardens, both day and weekend retreats include tuition from a special guest instructor and a spice-laden cooking session with Lu to master (and sample!) the flavours of South India.

Yoga

Lu Thornely’s group yoga classes are hatha based with a fun, mixed-level Vinyasa flow to connect mind, body and breath. The dynamic section of the class is followed by cooling and restorative poses.

Lu also offers Learn To Breathe Again class packages, 75-minute Private Classes at home for tailored requirements and Yoga At Your Workplace online sessions to engage and connect your team.

Chaat

Hire an unforgettable Indian street food cart for your next event! The Chaat food cart pays homage to the street food culture of India, transporting regional delicacies to special celebrations and festivals around Ireland. Expect Pani Puri spice bombs, a cooling Indian salad or crispy bhel puri to give a spicy, sweet and savoury experience.
